Analysis: Taiwan Conducting Annual War Games

The first stage of Taiwan’s annual military exercises is underway this week amid rising tensions in the Taiwan Strait. This year’s drills are designed to test the island’s asymmetric warfare strategy in the event of an attack from China. The Ministry of National Defense says the training will be informed by lessons taken from the war in Ukraine.
