Taiwan and Belgium Promote Tech Partnership

Taiwan and Belgium are strengthening technology ties as cooperation in semiconductors and AI drives growth in both economies. Officials speaking at the Taiwan-Belgium Joint Business Council said the relationship is built not only on trade, but also on long-term technological collaboration. A key part of that partnership is Imec, the Belgian semiconductor research center that works with TSMC on chip manufacturing technologies. The forum marks the latest effort to deepen business links, as a delegation of 10 Belgian companies visits Taiwan.
