Taiwan's Grass Owls
Among the 13 species of owl in Taiwan, the eastern grass owl is probably the most mysterious. It is endemic to Taiwan, but is increasingly endangered due to habitat destruction. Filmmaker Wan Chun-ming has spent the last five years working on a film to raise awareness of the species. TaiwanPlus reporter Pichi Chuang has the story.
