Taitung County Struggles With Stray Dog Population
Animal shelters across Taiwan are struggling to cope with the soaring number of stray dogs. Even with a spay and neuter program, there are always more dogs in need of help. In Taitung County, where the main shelter is full, it has fallen to individual towns to solve their stray problem.
