As Israeli forces step up their ground offensive in southern Gaza after a weeklong truce with Hamas, the U.N. continues to urge the IDF to protect civilians and alleviate the humanitarian crisis. On this episode of Zoom In Zoom Out, TaiwanPlus reporter Rik Glauert speaks with Dr. Shang Kai Hung from Doctors Without Borders (MSF). Dr. Hung served in Gaza as an emergency physician from July until the start of November. We first zoomed in on what he saw on the ground in Gaza City, before zooming out on the medical crisis in the region.
