Human Rights Lawyer Victoria Hsu on the Push for True Marriage Equality
Currently, only couples from countries where same-sex marriage is legalized can tie the knot in Taiwan. That’s a total of just 29 countries. Victoria Hsu, a human rights lawyer who leads the Taiwan Alliance to Promote Civil Partnership rights is leading the fight for equality. She told our reporter Bing Wang that activists have won a number of cases, but the government has yet to take action.
