Taiwan Battles New Year Influx
Ten school have been suspended for two weeks as Taiwan’s airport cluster spreads to other parts of Taoyuan. 17 new local cases were recorded today, 14 of them from a steakhouse which hosted a banquet. Authorities are stepping up disinfection in supermarkets, convenience stores and the metro stations where patients have visited.
