Taiwan's Former Vice President on Future of Pandemic
Many countries around the world are grappling with strategies to tackle COVID-19, with some moving to the "endemic" stage. Professor Chen Chien-jen is a John Hopkins-trained epidemiologist who was also Taiwan's Vice President when the virus first emerged from China. He tells TaiwanPlus reporter Yin Khvat vaccination rates in poorer regions, including Africa, must be addressed before the world can transition to the endemic stage.
