Mountain Charming - EP1: Xiaocukeng Ancient Trail
Where can you go in Longtan except for Shihmen Reservoir? Mountain Charming’s Hakka presenter Chen Ming-Chu would like to recommend a trail that is said to be one minute away from Jurassic Park, Xiaocukeng Ancient Trail. She will also introduce the must-try Ah-Xiang Vegetable Buns, located on Sankeng Old Street. The Xiaocukeng Ancient Trail used to be an oxcart trail running upstream along Xiaocukeng for transporting supplies from Longtan, Taoyuan to Guanxi, Hsinchu during the Japanese ruled period. Each year, when Tung flowers blossom in April and May, it is a popular place for viewing Tung flowers.
