Watch as stunning sights like Junjian Rock, the Dongqing Secret Caves, and the milky‑blue waters of Dongqing Fishing Harbor all come into view. The Yami (Tao) people of Orchid Island believe that flying fish have spirits that protect and bless their community. Every step from removing the scales to splitting and cleaning the fish follows strict traditions. The scales must be removed by the shore to ensure proper hygiene and cannot be taken into the home.
