How Kaohsiung Cultivates Music Talents - Live From South Taiwan EP2
Young Taiwanese voices rarely get heard globally—especially those outside of Taipei. But here’s an initiative that’s changing that: a workshop in South Taiwan where young musicians learn to write their own songs. What makes it even more inspiring? It was created by two young musicians from Kaohsiung and Tainan. Since no one was offering them opportunities, they took the initiative to create the event themselves—and this is just the beginning! In this episode, you’ll see how these young musicians stepped up to help other teenagers find their own voice—breaking out of their shells and writing original music instead of just covering other people’s songs. And you’ll hear something rarely broadcast: the authentic voices of Taiwanese teens outside of Taipei, sharing their real concerns, hopes, and dreams. Live from South Taiwan is the only television program produced in the island’s south that spotlights its strength, growth, and unique cultural identity. Discover Taiwan’s creativity and dynamism beyond Taipei, and hear the voices of Taiwanese people from outside the capital. Produced and hosted by Julien Oeuillet.
