Your Island My Home – EP4
‘Your Island My Home’ is the first music documentary stripe programming filmed internationally during the epidemic. It explores life, culture, island wisdom, and self-growth from the music exchanges between the indigenous musicians of Taiwan and New Zealand. The director/producer of this program is Ado' Kaliting Pacidal who deeply researches on cross-Austronesian culture and has been awarded the Golden Bell Award for the program ‘Songs Blowing Over The Island’. This program invited the Golden Horse Award winner, Suming, and the popular diva, A-Lin to join and also collaborated with internationally renowned Maori musicians Tory Kingi, Maicey Rika, and Ria Hall. Through new filming techniques, connecting the cultures of the two islands, and co-creating songs transnationally, sharing the wisdom of life displayed by the indigenous people of the Austronesians in the epidemic.
