What's essential, is invisible to the eye
A pathology image is extremely large, composed of one billion pixels or more. The size is 400 times larger than a photo taken on a smartphone. Each and every slide carries the weight of a precious human life. Battling illness is a race against time. Thanks to the efforts of the scientists, the supercomputer is already capable of reading pathology images with ultra-high resolution, training AI 300 times faster, and free doctors from 1000-hour of detailed annotations. Artificial intelligence has a lot to contribute to pathology and it never gets tired. Together with the innovation brought forth by the scientists, and the cores of supercomputers, they form a team of unending power that safeguards life and health.
