Analysis: Australia Unveils Naval Revamp

Australia has agreed to more than double the number of surface ships in its navy following a defense review. The plan will see Canberra inject an extra US$7 billion into the defense budget. Matthew Sussex from the Griffith Asia Institute tells TaiwanPlus that the plan will allow the Australian navy to better meet the country's defense needs amid escalating regional tensions.
