The United States is preparing to impose new rules limiting the sale of advanced artificial intelligence semiconductors to certain parts of the world, in an attempt to limit China's ability to access them. The U.S. has been upping controls of its advanced tech to China for years, as chips are increasingly seen by both superpowers as linked to military innovation and national security.
