US Lawmakers Push to Rename Taiwan’s Office in Washington
US Senators Bob Menendez and Marco Rubio have introduced bills to rename Taiwan’s de-facto embassy in the United States. The recommendation to change the Taipei Economic and Cultural Representative Office to the Taiwan Representative Office is seen as a step towards validating the diplomatic mission of the entity.
