Taiwan to Join RIMPAC?
U.S. President Joe Biden signed into law the National Defense Authorization Act 2022, which includes a call for Taiwan to be invited to the Rim of Pacific Exercise or RIMPAC. Bill Sharp is a former visiting scholar at National Taiwan University and an expert on Taiwan. Yin Khvat asked him what the chance was that Taiwan would be invited to RIMPAC for the first time.
