The U.S. Trade Representative has released a summary of the first round of negotiations under the U.S.-Taiwan Initiative on 21st Century Trade. Areas covered include trade facilitation, regulatory practices, trade in services, and anti-corruption. The two sides also discussed measures to help Taiwan's small and medium-sized businesses enter the U.S.
