KMT Chair Eric Chu To Visit U.S. in June to Discuss Taiwan Ties and Defense
The head of Taiwan’s main opposition party, the Kuomintang (KMT), is set to visit the U.S. in June. Chairman Eric Chu will meet with officials from the departments of state and defense as well as from the White House. Talks will cover Taiwan’s ties with the U.S. and China, and its defense capabilities.
