Double Ten National Day Celebrations
President Tsai Ing-wen pledged in her national day address to defend the country's sovereignty and democracy amid China's increasing military coercion. She affirmed that Taiwan will not be forced to take the path China has laid for the country during her speech at the event, which included a military parade and an air force show.
