Taiwan Legislature To Review Special Defense Budget
Taiwan’s legislature will start deliberations Monday on a proposed US$40 billion special defense budget aimed at strengthening air defense systems, advancing AI capabilities, expanding domestic drone production and increasing purchases of US weapons. Alternative proposals from the opposition Kuomintang and Taiwan People's Party will also be heard.
