China-Born Lawmaker Faces More Eligibility Questions in Taiwan
New doubts have emerged over the eligibility of Chinese-born TPP Legislator Li Chen-hsiu to serve in office. The Mainland Affairs Council, which governs cross-strait relations, says she may not have been qualified to run in the first place due to issues related to her previous household registration in China.
