Legislature Begins Deliberation on Lai Impeachment Proceedings
Taiwan's opposition-held legislature has begun deliberating whether it should impeach President Lai Ching-te. While the legislature has tried to get Lai to face questions from lawmakers, the Presidential Office has declined to do so, saying this would be unconstitutional.
