Taiwan Legislature Approves Special Budget Bill With Cash Handouts
Taiwan's government has approved a universal US$330 cash handout for the general public. It's part of an US$18 billion special budget passed by the legislature on Friday. The bill includes additional funding for Taiwan's industry, defense and social programs.
