Taiwan reported 982 cases of COVID-19 on Thursday, 874 of which are domestic cases. The government has released new rules, with hospital admission now only available for severe cases and 4 groups including those over 70. This comes as local governments across the country are trying to limit the spread of the virus, with increased testing and contact tracing.
