Taiwan shut its borders to non-resident foreigners in May as it dealt with its worst Covid outbreak. But even though the outbreak has eased, foreign spouses are still shut out almost six months later. Louise Watt went to hear the story of a French-Lithuanian couple who have only spent just one week of their married life together because of Taiwan’s Covid rules.
