Taiwan was one of the safest places to be during the COVID-19 pandemic but it came at the cost of harsh travel restrictions. Now tourists are back and Taiwanese are jetting off overseas. Making up for lost vacations, or "revenge tourism," seems to be taking off big time. How is tourism in Taiwan and across Asia recovering after the pandemic and what has changed?
