Known as the "father of the Internet in Japan," Jun Murai is a professor of computer science. Professor Murai received his doctorate from Keio University in 1987. During his research, he developed Japan's first-ever interuniversity network. For Professor Murai’s many contributions to the Internet Protocol, he was inducted into the 2013 Internet Hall of Fame. An optimist by nature, Professor Murai is a thoughtful academic at the top of his game.
