TaiwanPlus is launching a new current affairs program, “DC Insiders,” hosted by global affairs and Asian geopolitics expert Wenchi Yu. Filmed on location in Washington, D.C., the series gives audiences a direct view into how U.S. foreign policy is shaping the future of Taiwan and the broader Indo-Pacific region.
At a time when Taiwan is increasingly part of global strategic conversations, “DC Insiders” brings viewers inside the decision-making circles of the U.S. capital. The program features in-depth interviews with key voices across foreign policy, national security, and economic leadership, offering context and insight into how international policies are influencing Taiwan’s path forward.
“Many global decisions that affect Taiwan are discussed here in Washington,” said host Wenchi Yu. “By speaking directly with the people involved in shaping these policies, TaiwanPlus is helping bring Taiwan’s perspective into the international conversation. Our goal is to make sure Taiwan’s voice is part of the dialogue on the issues that matter most—regionally and globally.”
