TaiwanPlus and TAITRA Partner to Bring Taiwan's Tech Innovators to a Global Audience
Special video series at TAITRONICS 2026 will highlight how Taiwanese companies are shaping the future of technology and global supply chains.
TaiwanPlus and the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) are partnering at TAITRONICS 2026 to turn the spotlight on the Taiwanese companies influencing technology, development and supply chains around the world.
At the center of the collaboration is a special series of video episodes produced by TaiwanPlus, featuring companies working across fields including AI, data centers, space technology and other emerging industries. Rather than focusing solely on products and specifications, the series will explore the strategy behind the technology, the ideas driving their work and the role Taiwanese businesses play within a deeply interconnected global economy.
Taiwan is already widely recognized for its strength in technology and advanced manufacturing. Less familiar are many of the companies and innovators behind that reputation, whose expertise and ambitions extend well beyond Taiwan and into industries and supply chains worldwide.
“Taiwan’s technology sector has an extraordinary global presence, but many of the people and companies behind that success remain less familiar to international audiences,” said David Ho, CEO of TaiwanPlus. “Our collaboration with TAITRA gives us an opportunity to tell those stories in a way that goes beyond technology itself, showing the creativity, expertise and ambition that continue to drive innovation in Taiwan.”
Bringing together TAITRA’s work with Taiwanese industry and TaiwanPlus’ English-language storytelling and international reach, the project offers a more human perspective on Taiwan’s technological influence. It is an opportunity to show not simply what Taiwanese businesses produce, but how they think, what they are working toward and the people behind their progress.
The series will give viewers an accessible window into businesses participating in TAITRONICS 2026, connecting individual stories from the exhibition with a much larger picture of Taiwan’s place in global technology and development.
For TaiwanPlus, the project also advances its broader mission to present Taiwan to the world in all its dimensions. Alongside news, culture and society, the stories of Taiwan’s entrepreneurs, engineers, businesses and innovators reveal another side of the country: one whose ideas, expertise and ingenuity have an impact far beyond its shores.
The content will be available at participating booths during TAITRONICS 2026, October 20–22.
