Venezuela is reeling from back-to-back large earthquakes that struck Wednesday local time.

 

The death toll is unclear as rescuers in places like the capital Caracas search collapsed buildings. But the US Geological Survey expects anywhere from 10,000 to 100,000 dead. Acting President Delcy Rodriguez has called a state of emergency.
