Taiwan diplomatic ally, Honduras, has announced it wants to start recognizing China. But if the Central American country goes through with its decision to recognize Beijing, its relationship with Taiwan will end. China does not allow countries to hold diplomatic relations with both itself and Taiwan. Taiwan-Honduras ties have lasted more than 80 years, since 1941.
