Historic: Indonesia, Vietnam To Ratify EEZ Boundary

Vietnam and Indonesia are set to legalize an agreement delimiting each side’s exclusive economic zones. It is hoped this will put an end to an often bitter dispute involving their overlapping waters. The South China Sea neighbors also elevated their strategic partnership to the highest level, signaling much closer cooperation.
