With U.S. Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin’s visit to Manila, the Typhon missile system stationed in the Philippines is once again gaining attention. Meanwhile, Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto made his first state visits, meeting Chinese President Xi Jinping in Beijing before stopping in the U.S. to meet with President Joe Biden. What do these developments mean for Southeast Asia?
