Indonesia and the U.S. have kicked off the Super Garuda Shield joint military exercises at the end of August, an event set to boost military cooperation between the two sides. More than 5,000 troops from Indonesia, the U.S., Australia, Japan, the U.K., Singapore, and France will be participating in the drills. With more countries getting involved in the exercises, how significant will Super Garuda Shield be for security partnerships?
