Sobol: Macron's 'French Interview with Chinese Characteristics'

Taiwan Talks host Yin Khvat analyses French President Emmanuel Macron's interviews with Les Echoes and Politico. She's joined by Mor Sobol, an associate professor of Diplomacy and International Relations at Tamkang University. Macron gave the interviews on his return to France after meeting with Chinese leader Xi Jinping in Beijing. Macron said the EU should reduce its dependency on the U.S. and not get dragged into a war on Taiwan.
