In an exclusive interview with Taiwan Talks, Stan Shih, co-founder and honorary chair of Acer Group, a top-5 global PC manufacturer known widely for its Aspire and TravelMate notebooks. Stan is a pioneer in the IT world, launching one of Taiwan’s very first start-ups and is a promoter of Taiwan's transformation into the global economy. Stan pushed out the world’s very first Chinese-language PC in 1982. We asked him how he led the company through three global financial crises and revived the company in the midst of the global IT bubble.
