Taiwanese Runner Breaks Record in World's Longest Race

A Taiwanese runner has broken the world record for his age group in the world's longest road race, held in New York. Lo Wei-ming finished the 3,100-mile (almost 4,989 km) race in just over 45 days, running the entire event in flip-flops.
