Local Governments Wary on Relaxing Fukushima Food Ban
Taiwan is upping its national capacity to test produce imported from Japan's Fukushima and neighboring prefectures for radioactivity when a ban is relaxed at the end of the month. The government claims easing the ban will boost ties with Japan and international trade, but local politicians have kicked back, claiming food safety has been put at risk.
