Taiwan Set to Deepen Ties with Slovenia
Taiwan has confirmed plans are underway to open a trade office in Slovenia, in the latest symbol of warming eastern European sentiment toward Taiwan. The development comes as European Parliamentarians call on EU leaders to do more to support Lithuania, which is facing economic sanctions from China, for its own warmer stance toward Taipei.
