Taiwan Aids Philippine Typhoon Survivors
Taiwan has pledged US$500,000 in aid and has sent two aircraft with relief supplies to help the Philippines recover from Typhoon Rai. The storm battered central and southern provinces in the Southeast Asian nation last week, killing at least 375 people and affecting millions more.
