Taiwan Office in Lithuania Opens
Taiwan’s representative office in Lithuania opened on Thursday, and for the first time for a European country, the word ‘Taiwanese’ is in its name. While it indicates a higher degree of recognition of Taiwan, other developments in the European Union show the bloc continues to weigh its relations with China in its engagement with Taipei.
