Former VP Chen Chien-jen Visits the Vatican To Pray for Pope Francis
Taiwan's former Vice President Chen Chien-jen, who is Catholic, has led a delegation to the Vatican to pray for Pope Francis's recovery. They also visited Taiwan's embassy, where Chen thanked ambassador Lee Shih-ming for strengthening ties between the countries. The Holy See remains Taiwan's last diplomatic ally in Europe.
