TSMC has set new records for revenue in June and in the second quarter, as strong demand for AI chips continued to drive growth.

 

The chipmaker’s June revenue jumped nearly 70% from last year, while second-quarter sales rose 36% to around $40 billion US dollars, according to Reuters calculations. Investors are now looking ahead to Thursday’s second-quarter earnings call, when TSMC will update its outlook for the rest of the year.
