TSMC Confirms 2nd Arizona Plant Before Biden Visit
TSMC has confirmed it will build a second semiconductor plant in the U.S. state of Arizona. The chip giant's total investment of US$40 billion is one of the largest in U.S. history and came just before U.S. President Joe Biden visited the site of the first factory.
