One person remains missing after a deadly explosion at a factory in southern Taiwan that is confirmed to have claimed nine lives. Meanwhile, eight migrant workers were injured in a gas explosion also in southern Taiwan. Civic groups have launched a tenants' alliance calling on renters to act collectively to clean up Taiwan's shadowy rental market. Also:
