Military officials say they have retrieved debris from a Chinese weather balloon around Taiwan's outlying Matsu Islands, though they have not said if they believe the device was used for spying purposes. The U.K.'s Financial Times says a top Pentagon official has arrived in Taiwan, a report which has not been confirmed by the country's defense ministry.
