Stalemate at US-Russia Talks

Eight hours of negotiations between US and Russian officials on Monday failed to bear fruit, as impasses on Ukraine and NATO proved difficult to overcome. The discussions in Geneva took place against a backdrop of Russian military buildup at the Ukrainian border, where some 100,000 troops have now gathered. But as James Chater reports, despite the urgency of the situation on the ground, at the negotiating table, the two superpowers remain at loggerheads.
