Taiwan-India bilateral trade jumped to US$12.5B in 2025, up almost 18% on the previous year. It’s not hard to see why. One is a semiconductor giant seeking scalable markets and regional allies. The other has a huge domestic market, a skilled workforce and a burgeoning tech industry. They also both seek to cut their supply chain reliance on China. Can Taiwan and India leverage their relationship to both de-risk and balance their own economies?
