Unstaffed Stores in Taiwan? We Tried a Self-Service Clothing Shop
Zero staff, zero pressure — just shopping in peace. We visited Taipei’s first clothing store without employees and spoke with founder Issei Saito, who brought the concept of unstaffed retail service from Japan to Taiwan. In his store, customers browse, try on and pay for fashion entirely on their own. Does the concept really work? And what are customers’ reactions?
